Vakaloa Beach Resort is a small retreat on Ha’atafu Beach offering motel style units set back in the gardens and a popular restaurant and bar overlooking the beach (twice weekly traditional feasts are offered to the public). The beach stretches for almost a kilometre in each direction with reasonable swimming lagoon dotted with some good snorkelling reefs.
